Biography

Bia is considered one of the top female drivers in the world. She started her Racing career when she was 8 years old in São Paulo Brazil. She is the Brazilian female that broke every record in Karting with many wins and championships. In 2003 Bia transitioned to Formula Renault Brazil where she was awarded Rookie of the Year and in 2005 she placed 3rd within the championship, becoming the first woman in the world to win a race in Formula Renault.

Parallel to her Racing career, Bia gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business at FMU in São Paulo in 2007.

In 2008 Bia moved to IndyLights series, quickly becoming a contender for the championship and winning Nashville GP, and receiving the Rising Star Award that year. She raced 4 years in IndyCar.

From 2014-2019 she raced n StockCar Brazil. On 2020 and 2021 she took a break to give birth to 2 baby boys. On 2023 she is Racing in Truck Series Brazil in Mercedes Oficial team scoring 3 Pole Position and she has become the first female to win in the series.
